The Wallbid API consists of REST and GraphQL (closed BETA) APIs that facilitate the entire lifecycle of issuing and managing insurance policies online. The Wallbid API is designed to act as a headless lightweight PAS (Policy Admin System) for Insurers and a headless full-blown PAS for Agents and Brokers. Integrators can cherry-pick the functionality they need using the respective set of APIs.
New products are deployed to the Wallbid API through the Insurlet DSL.
The Wallbid API can easily expose new product lines ranging from standard Life and P&C insurance to fully customized Art insurance. The Insurer needs only to describe the policy characteristics to our Insurance Experts Team, who will translate them into Insurlet DSL and feed them to the Wallbid API, making them ready for sale.

A lightweight Policy Administration System that got you covered
The core web app of the Wallbid Platform is the Wallbid Policy Center (WPC). WPC is designed to help Insurers, Distributors and individual Agents to manage their clients' insurance policies. Through our intuitive design, our partners can easily view and update policy information, process payments, and generate reports for their clients. Additionally, the WPC allows partners to configure multiple tenants, thereby support more sophisticated business scenarios. Our secure and reliable system ensures that all data is protected and accessible only to authorized users.
Anticipate and prevent risks before they happen
Wallbid has created a platform adhering to strict data privacy and security standards. All personal identifiable information collected through Insurlet DSL is encrypted at the application layer using the AES algorithm with a 256-bit encryption key. All data in transit is encrypted based on TLS 1.2 or higher certificates. All Insurlet endpoints are protected with the OIDC (Open ID Connect) authentication protocol. This means that on top of the best of breed security, our partners get to leverage enterprise features like SSO, User Federation via LDAP and Active Directory, and select the Identity Provider of their choosing (e.g. Microsoft AAD).
